Prof. Prisca Jebaibai Tuitoek is a highly experienced academic in the field of Human Nutrition. She holds a PhD in Human Nutrition from the University of Alberta, Canada (1995), an MSc in Human Nutrition and Food Service Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA (1986), and a BSc in Biology & Chemistry from Oral Roberts University, USA (1985).Prof. Tuitoek currently serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic, Research, and Student's Affairs at Murang'a University of Technology. Her previous leadership roles include serving as the Deputy Principal for Academic, Research, and Linkages at Machakos University (2014-2017) and Director of the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Chairperson of the Board of Quality Assurance at Egerton University (2006-2014). She was also the Founding Chairperson of the Department of Foods, Nutrition, and Dietetics at Egerton (1997-2005), and the Project Coordinator for the Micronutrient Deficiency Committee in collaboration with UNICEF, the Ministry of Health, and Egerton University (2003-2005).Prof. Tuitoek is recognized for her contributions to academia and her ongoing work in human nutrition. She is a respected member of the Kenya National Academy of Sciences (MKNAS No: 209).
